Video Art Tour
Take a 10 minute tour of the African American Atelier, Inc.'s March 20 - May 6, 2011 exhibition of art works by Mr. James C. McMillan titled: "The Art of James C. McMillan: Loss and Redemption - A Retrospective." The Atelier is located at 200 North Davie Street, Greensboro, North Carolina, U.S.A. This exhibit includes 50 art works by Mr. McMillan and is paired with a second exhibition of 50 plus works by Mr. McMillan running simultaneously at The Steele Hall Art Gallery, Bennett College, Greensboro, N.C.

During the video tour, Mr. McMillan is interviewed by Robert E. Holmes of Los Angeles. Mr. Holmes is an avid art collector with more than 600 works, including several works by Mr. McMillan. Along with McMillan collectors Arthur Primas of Dallas and Patrick A. Bradford of New York City, Mr. Holmes is co-sponsoring the Atelier's exhibit. Each of these three collectors has loaned certain of their McMillan art works to the Atelier for this retrospective. The Atelier's general manager is Ms. Deborah Scales and the Atelier and Bennett exhibitions are co-curated by Charlotte Sherman of the Heritage Gallery in Los Angeles and Dr. Alma Adams, Prof. of Art, Bennett College and Curator of the Atelier.
